Summer Strength and Conditioning Individual Design program 2018.
Our Individual Summer program is geared towards teen athletes. We have Division 1 hopefuls, University and College bound athletes working hand in hand with club and rep athletes at the city and provincial levels.
At CrossFit Guelph we focus on providing a solid base for continued excellence. We begin with proper technique, build in consistency and then layer in intensity. With this recipe we create a resiliency (injury resistance) in our young athletes and an appreciation for doing things right that will pay dividends throughout their athletic careers
We have a proven track record when it comes to taking teen athletes to their next level. Whether this is preparation for Football at Queens, scholarship athletes within Guelph, US Prep schools or working with Championship Softball teams CrossFit Guelph knows what it takes to build an athlete and above all keep them safe.
Our program is pillared on building a solid foundation of strength, mobility and nutrition as well as a strong mental capacity. With these principles in place the sky is the limit for your teen. All athletes receive an individualized program.

Team Summer Training
You know your team needs to stay fit in the off-season.
A team that’s fit in September has a huge head start. Athletes who train at CrossFit Guelph over the summer are ALWAYS ahead of their teammates…and the opposition.
CrossFit Guelph coaches have been training youth athletes and teams since 2006. Our methods are constantly evolving to provide the most effective, safe and fun experience for athletes at all levels and ages.
In 2018 we’ are consolidating our most popular training packages to help local teams.
A – Healthy Eating Seminar-Free and held at CrossFit Guelph.
An athlete who is properly fed—not “carb-loaded” or hyper-caffeinated—will perform 30% better. That adds up to a period of hockey, almost a half in basketball and football and innings in baseball with more energy and endurance. Sports science means correct eating habits all the time, even on the road. We’re happy to provide free guidance to teams willing to consider a switch to performance eating strategies.
B – Mobility 101.
Mobility not only unleashes potential, it also guards against injury. This program covers all the basics of mobility that we have seen as the most necessary and most often lacking in young athletes. We have developed comprehensive and effective programs that are efficient and easy to incorporate into ongoing training.
C – Private Group/Team training at CrossFit Guelph.
$1200 (2xs per week up to 12 people for 4 weeks!) $1800 (3 xs per week up to 12 people for 4 weeks!) We can also design a program specific to your team needs and availability.
Our coaches are athletes who have been thoroughly schooled in appropriate exercises for each developmental stage. Best of all, CrossFit Kids/Teen athlete workouts are fun, challenging, and VERY effective for building all ten elements of fitness:
speed agility power strength flexibility coordination endurance stamina balance accuracy
Private group training includes fitness ‘homework’ assignments for athletes to perform at home, and tracking logs for all players to complete (and coaches to check.)
