What exercise or sports did you participate in before joining CrossFit Guelph?
In a past life I played Rugby, but prior to joining CrossFit Guelph I had pretty much just spent 4 years sitting at a desk.
How long have you been training with CrossFit Guelph
Since the Spring of 2015 (almost 2 years now!)
Favourite exercise or workout?
Something with cleans and box jumps.
Least Favourite exercise or workout?
I try to have a good attitude about what ever the workout is, that being said, I'm not a huge fan of 7 min max burpees, only because I constantly loose count.
Describe your first day at CrossFit Guelph?
It was a sunny fun day. I remember getting training on KB swings and thinking, "There are so many things to remember! How am I ever going to get this!"
What sort of changes have you seen since joining CrossFit Guelph?
So may wonderful changes like losing 20 lbs and regaining my lost muscles. The best change has been becoming more aware of my body, and it's amazing abilities outside of just carrying my brain around. It was something that i took for granted when I was younger and athletic. I now have the confidence again to move through my day knowing what I am capable of dealing with a variety of physical and mental challenges.
What advice would you give people who are curious about trying CrossFit Guelph?
