What exercise or sport did you participate in before joining CrossFit Guelph?
Hockey and mostly traditional gym stuff like weight machines , treadmills, bikes, and swimming.
How long have you been with CrossFit Guelph?
A little over a year.
Favourite exercise or workout?
Olympic Weightlifting and conditioning.
Least Favourite exercise or workout.
Describe your first day at CrossFit Guelph
I walked into the gym and Coach Kelly came over and with big smiles welcomed me into the gym and introduced me to a number of members. I went through the hour workout with great guidance, doing what I could and convinced I wanted to try more.
What changes have you seen since joining CrossFit Guelph?
Strength gains-way beyond anything I was able to do in the past. Weight loss, endurance playing hockey. This is the first season I can remember where I was not "gasping" for air after the first few shifts coming back. A rekindled love of fitness and the feeling that I can't wait to get back to the gym
What advice would you give anyone curious about trying out CrossFit Guelph?
Step through the entrance. Take a class. Talk to the members. You will find that in addition to the excellent, engaging coaches the community of members is a big reason why CrossFit Guelph will keep you coming back for more.
